WHITE CROW FLUTES

Extended Playing Chart for 6 Hole, Mode 1 / Mode 4 Flutes
As each flute is unique, some alternate fingering combinations may be required to produce
the best possible tones.

Fingering Key: White = Open      Black = Closed        Gray = Shaded Holes      Red = Not Available

The Clear flutes are the first octave and the Blue colored flutes are second octave notes -
the best sound on second octave notes are best played with a regular breath pressure
and just cracking the top hole. These are overblown notes but you do not have to Overblown!
I have used the F# as an example for the actual tones/notes available with the fingering. Other
keyed flutes will require you to transpose this scale them starting with the fundamental note of
the flute you are playing. The chart of intervals on the "Whats New" page may help you as well.
